The Bears on Hemlock Mountain Dalgliesh & Sewell (1952)

The Bears on Hemlock Mountain (1952), by Alice Dalgliesh (1893-1979) and illustrated by Helen  Sewell (1896-1957) is still in print.  The most recent edition (Aladdin Paperbacks) does not use Sewell's design on the cover, but preserves the wonderful interior illustrations.
